    The initiative is interesting because of the relevance and the diffusion of the faced problems (measures aiming at improving traffic conditions and stimulating inhabitants and tourists’ physical exercise in order to improve their health). The adopted strategy is particularly interesting, since it implied a collection of ideas and proposals by the local population, whose pertinence to the programme, effectiveness and sustainability (attention towards gender equity and weak groups’ inclusion) have been studied in depth. The best projects were selected and their definition and implementation were followed by work groups formed by volunteers and experts. The initiative is also relevant for the optimal results achieved, which completely fulfilled the planned objectives. Also the high-level competence acquainted by the interested subjects, which enhances the transfer of the practice.

    Si segnala l'iniziativa per la rilevanza e il grado di diffusione delle problematiche affrontate (misure volte migliorare le condizioni di traffico e ad incentivare l'attività fisica di abitanti e turisti per migliorarne lo stato di salute). Di notevole interesse la strategia di attuazione adottata, che ha previsto una raccolta di idee e proposte da parte della popolazione locale, di cui è stata valutata attentamente l'attinenza al programma, l'efficacia e la sostenibilità (attenzione all'equità di genere e all'inclusione dei soggetti deboli). Sono stati quindi selezionati i progetti migliori, la cui definizione e attuazione è stata seguita da gruppi di lavoro composti da volontari ed esperti. L'iniziativa si distingue inoltre per gli ottimi risultati raggiunti, che hanno soddisfatto ampiamente gli obiettivi posti, e per l'alta competenza raggiunta dai soggetti interessati che agevola il trasferimento della pratica.

    The initiative is relevant thanks to the attention paid to the traditional handicraft know-how of different areas in the alpine space. Within an international environment, the project applies an innovative approach in order to promote and increase the value (from an economic and social point of view) of the handicraft culture through the exchange of know-how among the different participating regions. The direct contact among different cultures enhances knowledge and spreading; this effect is implemented also thanks to the network created with the initiative.

    L'iniziativa si segnala per l'attenzione rivolta al sapere artigianale tradizionale di diverse aree dell'arco alpino. Inserito in un contesto internazionale, il progetto adotta un approccio innovativo per promuovere e valorizzare (dal punto di vista sociale ed economico) le culture artigianali tramite lo scambio di know-how tra le diverse regioni partecipanti. Il contatto diretto tra soggetti portatori di diverse tradizioni ne consente la conoscenza e la diffusione, implementata e facilitata dall'efficacia della rete nata dall'iniziativa.

    The submitted programme of urban regeneration regards topics shared in all the alpine space, like depopulation and marginality, which were faced by networking the different actors (institutions and populations belonging to each municipality). The involvement and the matching among local actors has started up an almost established process (500 financed projects) of social and economic development, which has allowed the relaunch of competitiveness of these zone, with a view to social, economic and environmental sustainability.

    ll programma di rigenerazione urbana presentato investe temi comuni a gran parte delle località alpine, lo spopolamento e la marginalità, che sono stati affrontati attraverso la messa in rete dei diversi soggetti (le istituzioni e le popolazioni di ciascun comune). Il coinvolgimento e il confronto tra gli attori locali ha innescato un processo ormai consolidato (500 progetti finanziati) di sviluppo sociale ed economico che ha consentito il rilancio della competitività di queste realtà, in un'ottica generale di sostenibilità sociale, economica e ambientale.
